DURING ANY CONFLICT:
Most times, the one who is quick to go about with explanations and stories to make the other party look bad has something to hide. The one who talks less or keeps quiet however does so out of dignity. They know more than they will ever say but does not need to prove any point.

Don’t believe everything you hear no matter how convincing, especially when you only heard one side of a story. Lies is a forerunner of truth but it can never stand the test of time. Let the truth emerge naturally because people’s sins will surely find them out. It is just a matter of time.
